What a touching reunion. Humane Society of Chittenden County was happy witness two old friends reuniting after two long years apart.
They described the reunion as follows:
“Rottweiler Bella was surrendered to the Humane Society of Chittenden County because her owners were unable to afford an expensive surgery to repair her torn CCL.”
A local veterinarian generously offered to perform her surgery for free, and we placed her for adoption so she could recover in a home.”We received a call last weekend from a woman who claimed Bella was her dog, whom she had lost in the midst of a messy divorce two years ago and had been missing ever since. Jenn came by today to see if Bella was really her dog..”
Needless to say both dog and owner were overwhelmed with emotion when they saw each other! Jenn wipes away tears and Bella can’t keep still circling and snuggling with Jenn and the moment was captured on video.
