After Sajid Khan’s participation in Bigg Boss 16, Payal Rohatgi slammed her Lock Upp co-contestant Mandana Karimi for claiming that she wanted to quit Bollywood. She sided with the filmmaker, stating that ‘he has the right to repent and earn money.’
In a recent interview, Mandana said “This (Bollywood) isn’t a place to work, there are no women here.” Payal wrote, “You shouldn’t stay in Iran either as women aren’t respected there either.”

Furthermore, Payal denied Mandana’s claim that she is still waiting for her dues from her last reality show. Despite being a part of the same show, Payal had no issue. She wrote, “You quit the show so there must be a clause about payment release when inmates quit the show. I got my entire payment in 10 days after the show got over.”

Payal wrote a long note supporting Sajid Khan, saying, “Sajid Khan has wronged 6 women as they narrated publicly. He has been publicly humiliated for his actions. Now the 6 women may take him to court.”

As a result, it added, “But let me put it on record that if even murderers are permitted to reform under Mahatma Gandhi’s values, then Sajid Khan should also be allowed to live. You oppose him, but do not quit Bollywood. He has the right to earn money. He has the right to repent. Let him fight for his rights.

There has been a furor over Sajid Khan’s participation in Bigg Boss 16. Several women in the ‘Me Too’ movement have accused him, including Mandana Karimi. Celebs like Sona Mohapatra and Urfi Javed have slammed the makers for giving him a chance to redeem himself since he entered Bigg Boss 16.
